Action Bridge’s Education Sponsorship is a program at the center of what we do in Haiti. Currently, most Haitians lack access to quality education, a prerequisite for sustained social and economic development. Less than half the children in Haiti go to school due to a lack of financial resources. Parents must pay tuition to attend schools and buy uniforms, shoes, and books, which often makes the opportunity unaffordable for many families. The Bridge Sponsorship Program is designed to fight poverty in Haiti by giving one child education at a time. Our goal is to reduce poverty by providing access to education to the poor and groom them to become productive members of society.
As a child sponsor, you can fight poverty in Haitian communities. For just $2 a day, child sponsors provide an underprivileged child in Haiti with education, daily meals, and a supportive community. In addition to education scholarships, when you fully sponsor a child through our program, their parents (single or married) are also enrolled in our entrepreneurship program, which aims at helping the family to become financially self-sufficient within four years.
Where is it available? This program is available in Haiti.
How does the education sponsorship program work?
How can I help? Your generosity also lifts entire communities. Our programs reach children’s parents, caregivers, and community members. Together we help save children’s lives, protect them from exploitation and provide them with hope for the future. You can support a whole year of schooling for as little as $30/m or $360 a year. Or you can donate any amount to help fund a child’s education. Partial sponsorship is any amount of at least $10. You can make it one time, monthly, or yearly
