Mission:
To increase high school graduation rate among minority young men by empowering and educating them on entrepreneurship, finance and money management.
With so many young men at risk of joining gangs and/or not graduating high school, we design a program to change that. We believe that teach high school students how manage a business and save the profit for college will encourage students to stay in school and enroll in a higher education institution. Act Like a Man is an after school financial literacy program aiming at educating minority high school young men on entrepreneurship, finance and money management. Our program will allow participants to
– Graduate High school
– Maintain a 3.0 GPA
– Start a small business in 9th grade
– Save money for college
– Know and understand financial terms
– Have a life and business plan
